This is the latest in a continuing series of posts where we feature a member of our team using a Q&A format so you can get to know them a little better – both personally and professionally. This week we’ll be interviewing Justin Cassida, CFP®, who joined Brown and Company, Inc. in May 2007 as a Client Relationship Manager and in 2013 was promoted to Director of Client Service. Justin leads the client experience. He works with our clients on day-to-day investment implementation, along with ongoing financial planning. Justin manages our team of CFP® professionals to ensure that our clients receive wealth planning advice and investment portfolios that are implemented consistently and optimally over time. Justin graduated from Texas Tech University (magna cum laude) with degrees in Business Administration and Financial Planning.  He then obtained an MBA and a M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech.   Q: Can you briefly describe your role at Brown and Company? A: My job is to make sure clients have a great service experience with every interaction they have with our team. Q: What is your favorite part about working for Brown and Company?  A: By far the best part of my job is the relationships that I have built with the clients I serve. Q: What do you find most challenging at Brown and Company? A: Remembering what we can control and what we can’t.  That’s why it is so important to be prepared for the unexpected. Q: What advice would you give to someone just joining the team? A: Work hard, don’t be afraid to ask questions and don’t take yourself too seriously.   Now, we’ll switch gears to learn more what you like to do outside of the office. Q: What is your favorite sports team? A: Love the Denver Broncos.  One of the first things we did when we moved here in 2007 was get on the wait list for season tickets.  13 years later, we’re still waiting!
