Helen has been with Richey May since 2012 and currently serves as the Client Accounting and Advisory services Director and practice lead. Helen provides finance and accounting services to a variety of closely held businesses including the following industries: professional services, manufacturing, hospitality, and institutional pharmacies. She specializes in supporting clients by helping them understand the essential metrics of their finances and provides real=time financial statements to enable them to make better financial decisions so that they can spend more time focusing on their business.
Prior to joining Richey May, Helen worked for one of the top 40 accounting firms, preparing, and reviewing high net worth individual, partnership and corporation tax returns for multiple industries such as entertainment, commercial rea estate and agriculture. Her attention to detail and dedication to providing the best customer service possible has resulted in many significant success stories over the years. On multiple occasions, she has been responsible for amending clients’ returns to get them significant refunds and claiming tax credits that resulted in major savings.
Outside of the office, Helen can be found at the ice rink, figure skating. She also enjoys renovating investment properties. She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and new baby girl.
